I’ve spent the past week and a half putting together two dimensional frame pieces. Cutting. Gluing. Measuring. Testing. Cursing. Starting again . . .

Now it is time to take the cross sectional frames, and arrange them on the framing jig in preparation for assembly. I have to make sure the jig is perfectly level and stable.

I take careful measurments to make sure the stem is aligned, and the keel lines up with all of the frame pieces.

Nothing is glued together yet . . . but you can now see the little Squirt taking shape on the framing jig. By this weekend, maybe I’ll have the hull framed, and ready for covering . . . ??

As it gets dark, I snap this picture of the beginnings of my boat.

Can't you see what it will look like when it is finished? I can . . .
